Romans 12:9-13
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality."

Busy Few Weeks!

Its been a BUSY few weeks around here and so I'm just now getting a chance to update. I feel like Chandler's schedule is off permanently from all we have had going on but hopefully he will be back on track soon. Chandler got to see his first fireworks. INDOORS :) I knew that he wouldn't be able to handle the noise so when a friend offered to let us use her office in a close building downtown we jumped on it. We let him sleep righ up until it was time to go and here are some pictures of him enjoying them. We were very close and it was nice to be inside and in AC!
Daddy and Chandler watching the fireworks
I think Dad was getting tired of holding him up!

We had Vacation Bible School last week and it was so fun, not only to work but to see Chan get to be involved. They had TONS for the kids to do..even the little ones his age. He got to go to the petting zoo and ride a horse!  I was working with the almost 2 year olds and we had a blast. They are so excited about everything but are able to do quite a bit more than the babies. They are still pretty cuddly too! It was such a great experience. I was very thankful we were able to participate. It was a long week for Chandler, he was pretty exhausted by the time we got home everyday. He's trying to only take one nap a day since then but we are hoping to be back to normal soon!
Chandler loves the pool!
This past weekend we went to St. Augustine for the day to see our good friends, the Pellums who were in town for the week. We miss them alot while the kids are in Seminary. Eli and Chandler are only a couple weeks apart and it was so cute to see them crawling around together. Chandler didn't feel very well that day so we didn't get very many pictures but it was so nice to see everyone.

Here's a video of Chandler does constantly in his room, I don't know why he's so fascinated with it! Its from a few weeks ago. He's still not walking on his own, walking the furniture and behind toys but not by himself. He gets very irritated when you try to get him to do it alone. All in his time I guess :) Maybe I can get THAT on video. A certain someone has a birthday coming up and we are getting excited! I just can't believe how fast time has flown!

Happy 4th!!

HAPPY FOURTH! Chandler sure is enjoying his! Just kidding, just kidding. He hasnt had an onion ring.....yet.

We actually had plans to be in Destin at my aunt's condo this weekend, probably one of the last times we will see pretty water before the rest of the oil starts coming ashore. They have only seen a few tar balls here and there. BUT my grandmother that lives with my parents took a bad fall on Friday and broke her hip (she broke the other hip over Christmastime) and is in the hospital. My mom was on the way up to the hospital to see her and got in a 4 car accident and totaled her car pretty much. So we are staying in town. Its been an EVENTFUL weekend already.  We'd \love to take Chandler to see his first fireworks but considering how he cries when a fire alarm goes off or when he's startled, I don't think he'd do very well. Maybe next year though.

I'm thankful today for our freedoms in Christ and HIS sacrifice and the sacrifice of our fellow Americans to give us a free country.

Have a blessed and safe weekend!

Got tupperware?

Anyone got tupperware? We seriously could just have these for toys...He played with this particular one for over 30 minutes. As you can see, he is getting around pretty well on the tile but if anyone has any advice for crawling/learning to walk on the tile, I'd appreciate it! We put him inm pants alot so he doesn't scratch his knees so much. I'm just always scared about him hitting his head. Its already happened quite a few times!
