Romans 12:9-13
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality."

4 Years Ago Today....

I married my best friend...since then we've been on a journey only God could have planned. I am so thankful for his grace in my life and his leading me to a wonderful guy that seeks Christ above all else. He leads our family with the humility I have loved since the day I met him. He is truly a picture of God's love for me. I am thankful for however many days God gives us. Love you Chris!

I laugh looking through all these old pictures.

Summer Lovin'

Chandler's first summer has been super eventful and tons of fun for Chris and I. We just love seeing him experience things for the first time. Here are a few fun things we've done so far. Chris' birthday was a few weeks ago and his friend Travis bought him the "love boat" sushi dinner. As you can see this boat is filled with mostly sashimi. They ate a TON of raw fish with a few sushi rolls. Chris loves sushi and I will eat the vegetable rolls but that's about it. They were on their own for this one! The picture doesn't even do justice to how much food was there. Chris had a wonderful 29th birthday. Relaxing has been on the agenda in any spare time that comes up because he is SUPER busy getting the plumbing business going.

First time in a real swing outside

Driving the Vicker's boat at the lake house.

Aunt Carol and cutie cutie Anna Grace with her shades at the lake house. We've been loving hanging out with them down there.

Baby pool on the dock, Chandler is constantly trying to climb out but its nice to be able to cool them off a bit.

Bathtime with mommy

Poolin' it! He loves any type of water so far. We'd like to teach him to swim this summer but we'll see. He wants to climb out of the float at any chance he can.

A word from Chris.....

A thought for this Christmas...

The Lord is to be magnified and praised in worship for his greatness and his glory. We will never rise above magnifying the Lord.

So when you are around your family and friends this Christmas season...exalt God, set him on high, magnify him with your love for each other.

What Chris has been up to lately......

I realize I probably don't update on what Chris is doing as much as I should so I figured this was necessary....He probably won't be taking any deep sea fishing trips for awhile (at least until he's back to work) but here's a some pics of his favorite hobby from some months past :) They typically like to go about 15-30 miles out (too long of a day for me!) and leave at 4:30 am!

Yes that is a shark

And yes, that is a gun...

Beginning of Updates!

Hi Everyone- I can't believe how long its been since I updated! But alot has been going on with us so I want to fill you in on all the highlights....to say the least we have really learned to COMPLETELY trust God with all our needs....

To start the excitement, I was laid off from my job at the beginning of March :( I did not have any plans to go back after the baby was born but I hoped to maybe be able to work part time from home...so as suprising as it was, we had already been saving and just continued to cut back where we could.

A little before this we found out we are having a BOY! We are so thrilled...it has been so exciting feeling him grow and planning for him. As I write this I am now already in my third timester! Our due date is still set for August 2nd but I am already beginning to feel like its summer so I'm just trying to enjoy these last few months. How amazing to see how God shapes and forms in the womb!

Our latest news is that Chris was laid off this last week, hopefully not for long but as you can imagine with planning for baby in a little over 2 months- this was a shock to us! We know God will completely supply our needs and thankfully Chris has some side work. This is no suprise to God and we completely trust in his sovereign plan for us and this little boy to come! So I would like to ask for your prayers as we make financial decisions. Chris is set to take the rest of his master's test for his business in July so I would also like to ask prayer for that!

I would really love to keep this updated more now since the little one will be here soon! Be sure to check back- I hope to get some pictures up from the last couple of months!

Love you all!
