Romans 12:9-13
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality."

Dedication

Chandler was dedicated on March 21st. We were thrilled to have both our families attend. It meant alot to us. Here is what his name means:

Chandler- English "bearer of light"

Ray- French "wise one"

James 1:17 "Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, whom there is no variation or shifting shadow."

Our Family with my sister Katie and my parents Felecia and Steve

Our family with Chris' mom Danese and step-dad Robert

It was a beautiful memory day :) We pray consistently to be the parents God wants us to be and to raise Chandler the right way and to glorify Christ. We are so thankful to God for him. His smile is such a light! Children really are a blessing.

A Big Thank You

I just wanted to take a moment and say a quick thank you. Chris works with a bi-vocational pastor of a small church on the Northside and expressed an interest in getting a couple other smaller churches together and have a speaking event. Well the idea formed and was called Vertical Thinking. Chris spoke with one of our dear friends Jerry who flew down for the event. There was also another pastor from a church here in Jax. The event went great and was a huge blessing to the churches and so I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped and to our S.S. class for coming alongside this other church with us and offering up their Friday night. We hope to do something like this again soon!

Ice Cream Fellowship

We had our Sunday School Fellowship at the Tallman's house and had homemade ice cream! YUM! We played a couple games of good ole CORN HOLE :) Or as the Tallman's like to say...BAGGO! Chris and I were the champs! I have to say its alot easier to play on the grass than the concrete! We had a great time and we love our class! Such great people! God has really blessed us.
