Romans 12:9-13
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality."

Delayed!!!

I wanted to say sorry to everyone for not writing lately. I have been EXTREMELY sick with a few different things so I have been MIA for about a month it feels like. I was out of work for a whole week but I am starting to feel better so I promise to update soon! I hope everyone is having a wonderful time getting ready for Christmas- I don't about you guys but its just coming way too fast for me- probably cause I've missed a few weeks of everything after Thanksgiving!

A Big Thank You

I just wanted to take a moment and say a quick thank you. Chris works with a bi-vocational pastor of a small church on the Northside and expressed an interest in getting a couple other smaller churches together and have a speaking event. Well the idea formed and was called Vertical Thinking. Chris spoke with one of our dear friends Jerry who flew down for the event. There was also another pastor from a church here in Jax. The event went great and was a huge blessing to the churches and so I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped and to our S.S. class for coming alongside this other church with us and offering up their Friday night. We hope to do something like this again soon!

Florida/Georgia Game

Our friends Jeff and Kristina invited us over to watch the game. The Gators won so at least MOST of the people were happy! Here are some pictures of the event! Our friends the Evans' and the Swains were there also. Ava Swain after she had "picked" some early oranges off the orange tree
My favorite 2 year old!

Ethan coloring- he kept himself well entertained!

Ethan jumped up on the couch with Jeff while he snuck a peak at the FSU game :) That game wasn't a happy ending unfortunately!

The mommas and Ava

Here's a video of Ava and the oranges....check out her "juggling" skills. I had to turn the video in the middle so hopefully you can still see it!

And we have a President!

Right now I am in desperate prayer for our country. This is a sign of the times and I hope that this means Christ will come that much sooner. But for now I am lifting up our new President in prayer because I know that is what Christ would have me to do. It does not in any way suprise God and I take great comfort in that!

Jaguars vs. Browns

We were blessed last week to have been given tickets to the Jags/Browns game! I actually had NEVER been to a Jags game. (everyone always makes fun of me!) So I was excited to finally go. We did leave early though cause the Jaguars were playing stinky!!! They should've won! It was fun though. Check out some pictures- not bad seats!

Free Fallin

Okay so there's a small group of us JM fans (ok well maybe just 2! You know who you are and we will drive hours together just to see him play), I know the rest of the world thinks were nuts- but this is an awesome cover of that song and no matter how many crazy blonde airheads he dates, I will probably still listen just for the simple fact that he's talented.

Our verse to claim where God has placed us....

At this point in our lives God has placed us working with couples and I really feel like this is our challenge ......I'll let the word talk....

A trip to Atlanta

This past weekend Chris and I went up to visit Ashley and John in their new home in Atlanta..well Canton actually. They have a beautiful new home! We went sight seeing on Saturday at Stone Mtn.-its way different than we remembered! And had a game night Sat. night- all I can say is John is a fierce Monopoly player so don't try and quit the game early! I'm so glad we got to see them- we had a blast. Thanks Ashley and John!

Megan Turns 25!

Megan turned 25 on the 11th of October and since the boys were out of town we suprised her and took her to Mimi's and then went to the Billy Currington and Jodee Messina concert at UNF! We had so much fun- we were really close to the stage but sorry to say I don't have any pictures of that because they wouldn't let me in with my camera so I had to go back and put it back in the car! :( Megan, Molly and Katie

When Fay Came to Stay.........

I had to post pictures of the water in our yard from Fay...keep in mind we were at the church the whole time this was going on getting ready for Ashley and John's wedding! These pictures were taken before we left and the water came up about 10 feet higher later that day....Our backyard
