Romans 12:9-13
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality."

So pleased to FINALLY announce.....

Chris and I found out a week before Thanksgiving that were having a baby! We are so excited. I have been EXTREMELY sick though and am still waiting for that to subside. Hopefully Soon! Which explains why I have been so slacked on this- I had to take a week off of work in the beginning and my migraines got a little extreme because I couldn't take my daily meds. Extra Strength Tylenol doesn't really cut it for those :) I am doing better but still sick alot. I am going on 11 weeks and am due August 2nd as of right now. Some of you know I was training for a marathon in February but since finding out obviously that is put on hold. I actually haven't been able to run at all the whole time so far because of the sickness but I hope to do a half by the end of next year after he or she is born. Here's a picture of the little Monkey- he or she is upside down :)

Family trip to Orlando

After Christmas we went down to Orlando for a fun weekend. Chris however couldn't come because he needed to work that weekend. My cousin Christina and her husband recently moved down there so we got to spend some time with her. For those of you that don't know- my dad is a huge UGA fan and we happened to be staying at the same hotel as the Georgia team being down there for their big game the next week. Yep- Dad was in the lobby stalking the team and coaches the whole time. The fam (minus Chris) at Sea World
Kate and I in the hotel

My cousin and her husband and our family out for a night on the town

A Very Merry Christmas

Christmas was wonderful- it all seemed to go by so fast though! I feel like I missed alot of December because I was really sick so it felt like it wasn't enough time. I can't wait for next year! Granny had a stroke a few weeks before Christmas so we went down to the rehab center she was in to brighten up her holiday and bring her some gifts. She's doing amazing and is so motivated to get better. Please pray for her and my mom- It has not been an easy time for them.
Mom surpised us and got us tickets for Wicked in April 2009. I have actually already seen it and its awesome!

North Carolina Trip in the Mountains

We had a wonderful trip in the mountains after Thanksgiving. Chris' mom and stepdad have a mountain house they built last year that they will be retiring to Jan 2010. Its in Robbinsville, North Carolina and its beautiful. It started snowing the day we were leaving! I got a couple pictures. Its so peaceful up there- A baby blue spruce in the front yard- Mrs. Danese's pride and joy

Thanksgiving!

We had some fun news for the parents that we found out a week before Thanksgiving. We told them with this stocking :)

Ok so our lives have kind of been in a stand still since right before Thanksgiving! We found out some exciting news!

Thanksgiving was great we spent it driving back and forth between Chris mom and stepdad's and my parents house. It was great food and fun though- my camera didn't want to work halfway through the day. So sorry for the one picture :)
