Romans 12:9-13
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality."

Our verse to claim where God has placed us....

At this point in our lives God has placed us working with couples and I really feel like this is our challenge ......I'll let the word talk....

A trip to Atlanta

This past weekend Chris and I went up to visit Ashley and John in their new home in Atlanta..well Canton actually. They have a beautiful new home! We went sight seeing on Saturday at Stone Mtn.-its way different than we remembered! And had a game night Sat. night- all I can say is John is a fierce Monopoly player so don't try and quit the game early! I'm so glad we got to see them- we had a blast. Thanks Ashley and John!

Megan Turns 25!

Megan turned 25 on the 11th of October and since the boys were out of town we suprised her and took her to Mimi's and then went to the Billy Currington and Jodee Messina concert at UNF! We had so much fun- we were really close to the stage but sorry to say I don't have any pictures of that because they wouldn't let me in with my camera so I had to go back and put it back in the car! :( Megan, Molly and Katie

I now pronounce you: John and Ashley Burns!

Ashley and John's wedding turned out wonderful despite that storm going on outside! The weather started to clear up about an hour before the wedding and Ashley even got some pretty pictures outside like she wanted! I was so happy for them! The bride and IMe, Staci and Emily

When Fay Came to Stay.........

I had to post pictures of the water in our yard from Fay...keep in mind we were at the church the whole time this was going on getting ready for Ashley and John's wedding! These pictures were taken before we left and the water came up about 10 feet higher later that day....Our backyard
Next door neighbor's yard, their bulkhead needs to be replaced.

This is what the yard normally looks like :)
Light pole that caused most of the neighborhood to be without power for a few days.

A lunch for us? In a hurricane? Really?

The day before Ashley's wedding, the same day Fay was coming into town, was the day of Ashley's bridesmaid's luncheon and everything turned out wonderful! We had such a good time- Mrs. Leuder's and Mrs. Sutherland hosted the lunch at the Hilltop and we hardly noticed it was about to be a hurricane! The whole gang!
We got such cute bags with our names on them:)
Bridesmaids!
Beautiful tablescape- I just had to take a picture
Love her:)

Party Time!!!

We all threw Ashley a lingerie shower and a suprise bachelorette evening! We all had a lot of fun! We had the lingerie shower at my house and then went to take dance lessons together from a professional :) Swing, salsa and all that jazz! It was a blast- We then took her to a Japanese restaurant and then to Cheesecake Factory for dessert yum!

Katie decorated her car for the occasion and was Ash's driver for the night!
