Romans 12:9-13
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality."

31 Weeks!

I just wanted to give a quick update....I'm starting my 31st week and had a dr.'s appt this past Tuesday at 30 weeks and measured a week ahead. The doctor says everything is going well and looks good...he even said I have dropped already but I'm not quite sure. It does feel that way though! He was active at the last appointment he kept kicking away at the doppler and the nurse was cracking up...which then had me laughing so took about 5 minutes to get his heart rate, but its still good and strong. I believe weve also decided on a name. It will be Chandler Ray Lettow as of this moment. Ray is Chris' middle name and a family middle name so we were going to keep that and we really liked the name Chandler. You don't hear it too often these days...I know I know...Chandler Bing from Friends :) The nursery is coming along well...my dad has just finished painting so when we get it all done I will be sure to post pictures!

A Memorial Day We Will Not Forget!

Well we had a very exciting Memorial Day this year...it all started out as a harmless day with good friends at the beach...We always have a large group of families that typically go on Memorial Day and 4th of July. Well this year we were a little worried about the weather but it ended up being a gorgeous day! I have a story though, which is why I will never forget this Memorial Day and why I will also not go back in the ocean water for quite some time....We had been at the beach for a couple of hours and a few of girls said we wanted to get in- it was really hot! So we start walking out till the water is a little higher than our knees when we see this guy about 5 feet away poking at something in the water. He had his kids with him so I was assuming one of them was swimming and he was telling them to come up. Well he started pulling at something and then I thought it must be an animal or something...so I get kind of scared thinking its a shark and he turns around to us and tells us to get out of the water and get help...so we kind of back up and he's still pulling and turns it over and it is a DEAD BODY!!!!! Oh my gosh I have never been so freaked...seriously 5 feet away so my sister and I go running up the beach to tell everyone and for someone to call 911. At first no one could understand what I'm saying (picture a 7 1/2 pregnant girl RUNNING up the beach screaming ) People rush down and the water and pull him out and try CPR and can definitely tell he had been in the water for awhile. We come to find out that this guy had gone missing the day before about 8 miles down when he was boogie boarding with some friends and the current took him out. Police and everyone were there within minutes and wanted interviews with some us- I declined but a few of the others did them. I am just so thankful to God that the man found him before we did- thankfully he was in good shape since he had only been in the water for a day. It was still SO SCARY!

If you want to see the news story and the interviews here's the link.
