Romans 12:9-13
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality."

Happy New Year!

Hi Everyone! This will be a really long post to update you all on our holidays! We were so blessed this Christmas to have our little man. He is almost 5 months old and is growing like a weed. I really can't believe how fast the last few months have gone by. Chandler is a whopping 16 pounds and 26.5 inches long! BIG boy. He's getting quite heavy for mommy to be carrying around in his infant car seat! Here's a few random pictures from our holidays. Chandler and a sleepy daddy
We were blessed to see good friends that came in town to see their families. That's something we love about this season...being able to reconnect with people. We got to see Lara and Garrett for Chili night...yum. Jack is so big now! Chris and Garrett got to spend some quality time together.

Chandler was mainly just looking around this Christmas..taking everything in. I really enjoyed it because I know he will be up running around next year!

He LOVES bath time!!

We had a few bonfires over the holiday since it was SO COLD here for Florida!! We also had quite a few oysters on the grill. The guys just ate, and ate, and ate.

Check out this huge oyster!!

Chris' family, the Boree's have a big Christmas get- together...more like a reunion because their family is so big! Chandler is sitting on "Santa Boree" s lap with Granny Shirley (Chris' gma)

Have I mentioned that this baby doesn't like clothes???

4 generations!

We spent a little time in Keystone with my mom's sister and mom...Now that I think of it Chandler had a VERY busy Christmas!

Last but not least we have a new neice!!! Anna-Grace Noel Vickers was born a week before Christmas to Carol (Chris' sister) and Tommy. She's had a rough start being in and out of Wolfson's for rare issues with jaundice. She's had a few transfusions already and please pray for them as they still don't know what's wrong.

Chandler, Anna-Grace and Kale (Tommy's sister's baby born a month after Chandler)

She was so tiny and beautiful! It was such a blessing to have her arrive in time for Christmas.

Here's a video of Chandler trying rice cereal for the first time! He did pretty well for his first bites of food. I can't imagine that it tastes like anything much. He was a tropper though.

After Chandler's bath one day I walked in to find him turned to the window and "talking to himself" It was so cute....

Now that our computer is up and running we promise to be back soon with more updates. Happy New Year everyone. We are so blessed to have you all in our lives!

Prayer for Anna Grace

Please pray for our niece. She has been readmitted back into the hospital (now the third time since birth and she's not even 2 weeks old) for very unusual jaundice. She is with a pathologist at the moment trying to figure out exactly why its not going away. There is some talk of some blood transfusions.

I know this is wearing on Carol and Tommy, being in and out of the hospital. Please pray for them.

A word from Chris.....

A thought for this Christmas...

The Lord is to be magnified and praised in worship for his greatness and his glory. We will never rise above magnifying the Lord.

So when you are around your family and friends this Christmas season...exalt God, set him on high, magnify him with your love for each other.

Video from Matt

Video from Matt

Watch this video from Matt Chandler, pastor of the Village Church...He has been in my prayers as he recently went into surgery to remove a brain tumor.

This has been an encouragement to me this morning, oh the opportunity to honor God in the worst of struggles.

Have a blessed day,

Lindsey

Thankful

On this Thanksgiving day I am thanking God for all the wonderful blessings in our lives and for his faithful provision for our family this year! He has provided when we were both without jobs with a baby on the way, also faithful starting a new business in the scariest economy of our lifetime when we didn't know how our next month's bills would get paid. How he has blessed and taken care of us! He provided wonderful friends and family to encourage us, his word to strengthen our hearts, healed our newborn son when he was born with lung issues and pneumonia, kept our family safe, a roof over our head, cars to drive and food to eat. He allowed us to live in a free country with a military fighting for our freedom- We thank them and praise HIM today!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
