Romans 12:9-13
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality."

Hello all! This is Aunt Katie blogging! Lindsey is in labor and doing great. She is such a trooper. She was induced at 6 am this morning and is making progress! 3 cm dialated or more and the contractions are getting stronger! That pitocin is strong stuff! Stay tuned for more updates. Tomorrow is the DAY!!!!

It has been decided that we are going to try and induce tomorrow. We are scheduled for 6am. This could result in a Csection because dilation isn't really happening so far but we are coming up on 42 weeks in a couple days and the doctor thinks this is best. We are extremely excited but nervous as we don't know exactly how everything is going to go. Please pray for us tomorrow- we know God has his birthday picked out and a specific plan to bring him into the world, we have so much comfort and confidence in our God. This whole experience has had us in awe over the miracle of life...we are so looking forward to this final part of it-meeting our son!

We will be sure to update tomorrow with some pictures!

Happy Birthday Katie- Red Elephant and Bowling!

Katie Williams turned 22 :) We all had dinner at the Red Elephant...it was my first experience and it was good pizza. We later went bowling...I however just watched because knowing me I'd hit myself with the ball or fall- would have made for some great entertainment but I would not want to steal Katie's day! Here's some pictures...

The spectators for the bowling...can't lie there was some dancing going on though....I think I was the only 9 month old pregnant girl there :)

Katie, I hope you had a great birthday!

Appointment Update...The end is in SIGHT!

40 week belly! It was getting kind of dark outside

I had my 40 week appointment yesterday, yes my due date has come and gone. Baby Lettow is already being quite stubborn! They think he is between 7-8 pounds and I am still 1 cm dilated-I was quite surprised to hear that. However, the end is near as I will be induced sometime around the middle of next week if he is not here yet. That will be at 41 1/2 weeks! I have thought that labor has started several times already so I'm really just getting anxious! IF he decides to come on his own (which I would really rather happen than being induced!) the bags are in the car!
COME ON BABY!!!!!!!!!

Getting Ready- 38 Weeks!

Well we had my 38th weeks doctor's appointment today so I thought I would update! I'm officially 1 cm dilated and 50 % effaced...although that could mean a few days to going all the way to my due date, it made me feel better to know SOMETHING is happening. Especially since I was at nothing 2 weeks ago. I'm getting very excited but also very nervous for the unknown. I'm trying to enjoy this last little bit of time before our lives are forever changed. Really looking forward to the change though! Chris is completley calm and collected as usual so that is always a comfort to me.

Check back with us soon!

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July this year despite me being very big and not wanting to really sit in the sun but God provided gorgeous weather and we had great friends who brought tents so I was very grateful to sit in the shade! We even brought Roxy this year and she was happy to sit as my companion :) Sean and Brad playing Corn Hole

Mike T. and Chris on the other side

Here's Roxy- she was very happy to be at the beach- especially since she had on a red white and blue bandana! She was actually very good and was content to just sit by me all day...she did get a swim or two though...she's kind of scared of the waves! haha Great guard dog...

Katie and the newly engaged Katie W.! Congrats Katie and Scott- we are very happy for you two!
